We will host our 42nd Challenge Cup Regatta. In addition to great racing, registrants will enjoy: live entertainment, and delicious meals available throughout the weekend. We will also have Match Play Ink on-site for event merchandise.
Planning to attend? Register your boat for the race, reserve dinner tickets for you and non-racing folks, and see who else is planning to be on the water. A limited amount of dinners will be available during the event.

Want some Challenge Cup swag to wear? Match Play Ink will be on site during the regatta for merchandise sales. They will have Challenge Cup 2026 items with the Challenge Cup design logo as well as custom apparel.
Come in on Friday and stay through Sunday. We have ample parking for crew and friends and family. You and your crew can stay on your boat rafted in our deep harbor or stay in a tent on our lawn.

Josh Ketchum is a regularly gigging singer-songwriter in the Rochester, NY area. He has written roughly 50-100 songs and also plays covers, mainly in a blues/folk rock genre. Josh started his songwriting career in college and has been playing guitar and singing for about 10 years. We hope you'll join us at the yacht club and let the sounds brighten up your day!
Get ready to dance the night away under the stars of Sodus Bay Yacht Club on Saturday night June 27 with the Amy Montrois Band from 6:30 – 9:30.
Amy Montrois is an acoustic guitarist and vocalist from Rochester, NY who plays a mix of cover tunes ranging from pop and country, to alternative rock. Bands covered include Grace Potter, Jason Mraz, Pearl Jam, Miranda Lambert and more. She loves to experiment with many different genres, and is often complimented for the wide variety of songs in her setlist.
Join us Friday night at the Club and have drinks at the bar. Enjoy the club's dinner fare from the SBYC menu.
After racing on Saturday, join us on shore for a delicious BBQ ribs dinner ($25 per person). Please purchase your tickets soon for your meals.
The junior sailors are hosting a Pancake breakfast from 8:00am - 11:00am. All donations go to SBJSA. No pre-order necessary for this breakfast.
After racing on Sunday, we will host a hamburger and hotdog picnic ($12 per person).
SBYC is again hosting this annual regatta that is one of many quality regattas around Lake Ontario that act as a qualifying Tier 2 counter event for the LYRA Boat of The Year. This regatta will help you on a great campaign towards this coveted trophy. The expectation is to race 7 races on Lake Ontario, but it is not out of the realm of possibilities to have a few or all in the bay depending on the weather. Racing will be on Saturday and Sunday and will culminate with an awards presentation Sunday afternoon on the west lawn next to the portico.
